Often overlooked by green investors, companies that clean up pollution are part of a sector called environmental services. These companies are involved in activities like recycling, remediation, waste collection / disposal, and environmental consulting. They are cleaning the environment and developing closed-loop systems where the waste from one industry becomes the input for another industry.
